Looking for a space where your child can explore with paint, sing silly songs, and make new friends — while you sip a warm cup of coffee and connect with other parents?

Wild Poppy is a weekly, nature-inspired art playgroup for families in San Francisco. Each Wednesday morning, we gather in the beauty of Glen Park Canyon to create and play together.

A Typical Morning:

☕️ Pour a cup of coffee while the kids draw with chalk or run around

🎶 Circle up for music and story time

🎨 Dive into our craft for the day

🌳 Linger outdoors — snacking, scootering, kicking balls on the field, or playing at the playground

Feel free to bring along anything else your little one loves: a ball for the field, scooter, balance bike, etc. Free neighborhood parking is nearby—just give yourself a little extra time for the stroller walk in.

A Space for Parents (Not Just the Kids)

Wild Poppy is as much about parents finding connection as it is about kids exploring art and singing songs. It’s a chance to pause from city life, breathe in fresh air, and celebrate the joys (and chaos) of raising little ones. This is a collaborative group and parents are always invited to bring stories to read, help organize a craft, or bring snacks to share.
